CODE OF CONDUCT

Operational Partner Code

Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-02-01

This code extends the Ethics Charter v1.0 — the 7 charter clauses are the moral foundation; this document describes how they apply in practice.

1. Scope and applicability

  • This Code of Conduct applies to all approved Nutramilo partners (Bronze → Founding) and Clinical Advisory Partners.
  • Partnership starts on the date the application is approved and the Ethics Charter v1.0+ is accepted.
  • The code is reviewed annually; changes are communicated 30 days in advance via email.

2. Content standards

  • All content must be scientifically supported. PMID/DOI citations are required for medical claims.
  • Do not publish content that misleads about Nutramilo's efficacy in treating disease.
  • Use official NIS™/DIL™/Nutramilo™ branding per guidelines (no logo modifications).
  • When sharing plate analyses → always include DOI 10.5281/zenodo.20571802 for reproducibility.
  • Avoid sensationalist headlines ('This pill will save you from diabetes').

3. Disclosure & transparency

  • FTC-style disclosure required on every promotional post (#partner, #ad, 'In partnership with @nutramilo').
  • Discount codes / affiliate links require visible disclosure in the first 3 lines.
  • Email / blog signature must include partner role: 'Bronze/Silver/Gold/Founding Ambassador, Nutramilo'.
  • When speaking publicly (webinar / podcast) — verbal disclosure in the first 60 seconds.

4. Patient privacy and data

  • NEVER share identifiable patient information without written informed consent.
  • Case studies / testimonials require a signed release form (template via partners@nutramilo.com).
  • Protect your own Nutramilo account credentials. Do not share login details.
  • Report security incidents within 24 hours (security@nutramilo.com).

5. Professional conduct

  • No harassment, discrimination, or hate speech against patients, colleagues, or the community.
  • No public attacks on competing products or their employees.
  • Constructive criticism of Nutramilo is welcome — email partners@nutramilo.com, not publicly.
  • Comply with your local professional codes of ethics (BMA, ICN, NCA, and equivalents for your profession).

6. Conflict of interest (COI)

  • Declare all material COI: editorial board roles, pharma consulting, speakers bureaus, equity holdings.
  • Advisory Partners must complete a full COI declaration before the first Board meeting.
  • Update your COI declaration within 30 days of any material change (new consulting role, etc.).
  • In case of direct competition (work for a competing metabolic-health stack) immediate disclosure is required.

7. 3-step warning process and off-boarding

  • Step 1 (private warning): the violation is documented; the partner receives an email with corrective action.
  • Step 2 (probation): a 30-day probation period; benefits temporarily suspended; mandatory review meeting.
  • Step 3 (termination): partnership is terminated; referral code deactivated; outstanding revenue is paid pro-rata.
  • Right of appeal within 14 days to ethics@nutramilo.com — independent review by a 2-member Ethics Committee.
  • Criminal conduct or massive privacy breach → immediate termination without the warning sequence.

8. Escalation procedure

  • Conflicts between partners: first attempt direct resolution (15 days).
  • If unresolved → file a formal complaint at ethics@nutramilo.com with documentation.
  • The Ethics Committee reviews within 21 days and issues a binding decision.
  • Decisions are published anonymised in the /science/governance directory (transparency).
