Answer short questions or upload lab results. Nutramilo combines symptoms, labs, lifestyle and (optional) genetics into one holistic metabolic profile.

03

Understand what's happening in your body

AI explains your results in plain language, highlights key problems (e.g. insulin sensitivity) and priorities — not just "results" but interpretation.

04

See the connections, not just symptoms

We link nutrition, metabolism, hormones and genetics — and show how they influence each other through epigenetic and metabolic pathways.

05

Understand how food affects you (before you eat it)

See dietary insulin load (DIL), how food will impact you, and real-time recommendations. You can even simulate the effect of food on your body (Digital Twin).

06

Get a personalized plan

AI builds a plan from your metabolic profile, labs and actual food response — nutrition, activity, sleep, supplements (when appropriate).

07

Track how you change

See how nutrition affects blood sugar, how your metabolism evolves, and whether you're heading in the right direction — with real metrics, not guesses.

INDICES IN ACTION

Real foods. Real numbers. Real effect.

Pick a condition and see how Plate Simulator + Digital Twin work together on a real meal — what NIS/UIS it scores, what the twin forecasts, and what effect peer-reviewed literature documents.

⚖️Weight control
EXAMPLE

Plate Simulator

Breakfast: 2 eggs + avocado + spinach

NIS %45%
UIS %14%

Digital Twin forecast

Stable insulin = less hunger between meals. Simulator shows low NIS (14%) → Digital Twin forecasts 4h satiety and zero glucose dip → realistic deficit without restriction.

Evidence (peer-reviewed)

Ludwig 2018 (BMJ k4583): low-insulin meals → 13% lower hunger scores

NUTRITION INTELLIGENCE

Every food — analyzed in depth

For every food you see 6 clear scores: how filling it is, how many vitamins and minerals it gives you, how it affects your gut, how much insulin it triggers, the calories/fiber/fat balance, and smart swap suggestions.

Satiety Score

0–100

Measures how well a food suppresses hunger. Based on protein density, fiber density, energy density, volume and a hyperpalatability penalty (high fat + high carb). Foods with high Satiety Score keep you full longer with fewer calories.

High (65+): Broccoli 67.7, Spinach 71.2
Medium (35-64): Chickpeas 49, Carrots 42.6
Low (0-34): White rice 18, Grapes 12

Nutrient Density Score

0–100

Evaluates how many micronutrients a food delivers per 100 kcal against the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA). Calculated across 16 nutrients: protein, fiber, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, selenium, phosphorus, vitamins A, C, D, E, B6, B12 and folate. An added sugar penalty is applied.

16 nutrients: Protein, Fiber, K, Mg, Ca, Fe, Zn, Se, P, Vit. A, C, D, E, B6, B12, Folate

FODMAP Rating

Low / Medium / High

Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides And Polyols — short-chain carbohydrates that cause gut irritation in some people. Foods in the database are classified as Low/Medium/High FODMAP per Monash University data. Beyond the validated base, Nutramilo also searches the USDA database for expanded access to thousands of foods.

LOWLow FODMAP — safe for IBS (e.g. Raspberries, Rice, Avocado)
MEDMedium FODMAP — moderate quantity (e.g. Cantaloupe, Plum, Turmeric)
HIGHHigh FODMAP — limit/avoid (e.g. Apples, Cherries, Garlic)

DIL per portion

Every suggested food comes with a calculated DIL for the specific portion size (usually 50g). Shows how much of your daily insulin budget this portion will consume. Helps you distribute DIL optimally across meals.

Low load: Broccoli 50g → DIL 0.8
Medium: Chickpeas 50g → DIL 4.2
High: White rice 50g → DIL 8.9

Calories, fiber & fat

Each portion displays calories, fiber grams and saturated fat. Fiber slows sugar absorption and improves insulin response. Saturated fat is tracked against a daily limit based on your metabolic profile.

Fiber — slows glycemic response, improves gut health
Sat. fat — limit based on your phenotype and weight
Calories — calculated for the specific portion size

Smart Replacements

Meal Intelligence automatically suggests alternative foods with lower DIL for every recommendation. Shows how much DIL you save with each swap. Ideal for days when you want to optimize your insulin budget or diversify your menu.

White rice (DIL 8.9) → Quinoa (DIL 3.1) — save 5.8 DIL

DIL/DII vs Glycemic Index

Why our model is more accurate than GI/GL

DIL (Dietary Insulin Load)

Personalized: Yes

What it measures

The insulin load of food, adapted to your metabolic phenotype (P1-P5), weight, BMR, TDEE, menstrual cycle, and estrogen profile. The formula accounts for protein, carbohydrates, and fiber for precise insulin response.

Scope

Metabolism, insulin, hormones, cycle, phenotype

Metabolic assessment accuracy

DIL95%
DII88%
GI40%
GL55%

Example: Banana vs Salmon

Banana

GI: 51 (medium)
GL: 13 (medium)
DIL: 22 / 100g

GI/GL only show the blood sugar effect. DIL accounts for the insulin response to protein + carbs - fiber, adapted to your metabolic phenotype and daily budget.

Salmon

GI: 0 (no carbs)
GL: 0
DIL: 12.4 / 100g

GI/GL give salmon a 0 (no carbs), but DIL captures the protein-driven insulin response. Even carb-free foods stimulate insulin through protein.

DIL/DII provide a complete picture of food's insulin impact — not just carbohydrates, but also proteins and fiber, personalized to your body and metabolic phenotype.
